"Unassigned" no longer looks like a project. Work with no project was painted blue — the palette's first colour — though it isn't a project, it's the absence of one. It gets the neutral grey now, the same as the "Other" row
And it gives the colour back. The slot it took was saved to disk, so your first real project would have got the second colour instead of the first. The stale entry is cleaned up on update

Cell shade follows quantiles. One six-hour marathon would otherwise push every ordinary hour into the palest shade and leave the map looking empty
The app's accent colour is the brand green. It had never been set, so the system substituted its own blue — that's what coloured the finished-session dot, the hotkey recorder and the welcome button

How much of it went to meetings. No other time tracker can show this — they only see their own timer, while Nimer also reads your calendar. "11 of 57 hours in meetings" has to come from somewhere, and this is the only place it can
Weekdays with nothing tracked. Points straight at the days the timer never got started — on hourly work those are hours nobody billed
Breakdown by project and client — bars plus a sortable table with shares. A project keeps its colour for good, so changing the period doesn't repaint the picture
Dates in the window are English throughout. On a Russian system the Today and Sessions subtitles were showing "Ср, 16 сент." next to English labels

The window and the panel have separate themes now. Settings → General → Appearance has Window and Panel as two choices. A panel floating over your desktop suits dark; a full-size window needn't. Theme changes show immediately. The appearance used to be read once when the window opened, so switching themes with it open did nothing until you closed and reopened it. It repaints live now, titlebar and toolbar included

The sidebar comes back now. In the last build you could collapse it and had no way to get it back — no menu item, no button. There's a toolbar button now, and View → Toggle Sidebar with ⌃⌘S. The same fix covers the Settings window, which had exactly the same trap
Today is the day's agenda. Meetings and tasks, and nothing else — what you have on. It had been trying to answer two questions at once and answering neither well
A new Sessions section. Where the day went: your recorded work with times, task and project, and above it how much you tracked and the span it covered. Move between days with the arrows, the date picker, or ⌘[ / ⌘] / ⌘T — any past day is there
Each section counts its own. The agenda sums up meetings, Sessions sums up work. No section reports numbers about rows it doesn't show

Fixes along the way. Focus no longer jumps to another display when the panel opens, and the panel now uses the full height available instead of putting a scrollbar on a short list

The scrollbar on a short list is gone for good. The list's height was driven by a measurement of its own content — a loop that could settle a few points short. A list that fits now has nothing to scroll by construction

Focus no longer jumps to the other display. On a two-monitor setup the panel opened where it should, but the menu bar lit up on the main display instead. The cause was a deprecated activation call whose whole meaning is "activate regardless of other apps" — Apple marks it deprecated and names the replacement. It now uses the modern cooperative call, and the panel's key state is re-asserted explicitly so the glass looks exactly as before
Quick Add opens on the screen you're working on. The input field used to centre on whichever display Nimer last held focus on rather than the one under your pointer
Settings and other windows open on the menu bar's screen, instead of wherever they last landed

The "Grant Access…" button and the error text stay. If the system ever refuses again, you'll see why instead of a toggle quietly snapping back

The task panel finally looks like real glass. It used to be a flat frosted slab: macOS withholds the material from windows that can't become active, and the panel was exactly such a window. It now has refraction and a bright rim along its edge — the same glass as the quick-add window
Dark theme is actually dark. The system paints the glass from the window's theme, which the app never set — so picking "Dark" while macOS was in Light mode produced light glass carrying dark text
New Glass setting: Frosted or Clear. Frosted follows the Light/Dark theme and reads best; Clear is smoked glass with light text in both themes, like a desktop widget. The theme setting also gained a System option
Visual artefacts removed: the rectangular outline around the panel, the square shadow around the input window, and the square frames around the ↵, ⇧↵ and Esc hints
Corner radii now match the system, and the borders and strokes that were fighting the material are gone

Quick Add no longer clips while you type. The cause: onChange(of: taskName) fired the dropdown-visibility callback on every keystroke, and the controller ran an NSAnimationContext resize even for no-op transitions. Each animation cut off the one still in flight and the frame flickered. The callback now fires only on a real dropdown state change, and the resize itself is guarded against no-ops.

In 2.1.10 the recursive backing-layer wipe went too deep and touched the NSVisualEffectView instances inside .glassEffect itself — hence the clipped corners and the washed-out flat look while typing. The glass is finally glass. In 2.1.8–2.1.9 an opaque default NSHostingView layer showed through underneath .glassEffect — in Light Mode it looked like a flat light-grey rectangle and killed the refraction. Both windows (the popover and Quick Add) now clear their backing layers recursively on every layout pass, and the glass finally shows the desktop behind it.
A stable dark identity. The force-dark colorScheme is back on the popover and Quick Add themselves (but not on the NSPanel via darkAqua) — that gives Nimer a recognisable dark chrome regardless of the system mode, the way Fantastical, Bartender and Things do it. The glass still catches your wallpaper's colour at the edges.

Readable text in Light Mode. In 2.1.8 text on glass was a washed-out black at a fixed opacity, and it disappeared into light glass over a bright wallpaper. It now uses vibrancy-aware .foregroundStyle(.primary/.secondary/.tertiary), so the system picks the contrast for you in both modes.
From 2.1.8: darkAqua, the force-dark colorScheme, the black tint and the extra shadows are off the glass. The popover and Quick Add render as native Liquid Glass that adapts to your wallpaper.
